| ARTICLE I: |
The name Economics Students' Association (ESA)
shall prevail over this organization.
|
ARTICLE II: MEMBERSHIP
|

Section 1.
|
Any interested individual is eligible for membership.
|
|
Section 2. |
The membership may consist of student, faculty, and honorary
members.
|
|
Section 3.
|
A member may be expelled by a vote of 75% of paid-up members
in attendance at a regular or special meeting. Two-thirds of paid-up
student members shall be required to obtain a quorum.
|
ARTICLE III: MEETINGS
|

Section 1. |
Meetings may be called by agreement of the executive council
or by a majority vote at a regular meeting.
|
|
Section 2. |
Notice of meetings will be posted in advance.
|
ARTICLE IV: OFFICERS

Section 1. |
The elective officers of the Economics Club shall be
President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
|

Section 2. |
The time of election and time of installation of the officers
shall be no later than the third regular meeting of each semester.
|
|
Section 3. |
A vacancy in office shall be filled via a special election. A
quorum must be in attendance.
|
|
Section 4. |
At least one elective officer shall be a freshman or
sophomore.
|
ARTICLE V: EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

Section 1. |
The Executive Council shall consist of the President Vice
President, Secretary, Treasurer, Program Chairman, and Faculty Advisor.

Section 2. |
The duties of the Executive Council shall be to oversee and
transact the business of the Economics Club.
They will meet weekly.
|
|
Section 3. |
The Executive Council will set up all special committees.
|
|
Section 4. |
A program Chairman and two Committee members shall be
appointed by the Executive Council.
|
|
Section 5. | The Executive Council shall appoint a three member Advisory
Committee whose purpose is to maintain
communications between economics student and the Department of
Economics.

| ARTICLE VI: |
This constitution may be amended by a vote of 75% of members in attendance. A
quorum must be present.
|
| ARTICLE VII: |
This constitution may be ratified by a vote of 75% of members in attendance.
